    Let \(\alpha\in (-\infty,2)\), \(f\) holomorphic on the unit disc \(\mathbb{D}\) of the complex plane and set \[ \begin{aligned} A(f,\alpha)= & \int_\mathbb{D}\bigl |f'(z)\bigr |^2\bigl(1 -|z|\bigr)^{1- \alpha}dm(z),\\ B(f, \alpha)= & \int_\mathbb{D} \bigl|f(z)\bigr |\bigl|f'(z)\bigr |\bigl(1 -|z|\bigr)^{1- \alpha}dm(z) \end{aligned} \] where \(dm(z)\) is the Lebesgue area measure. In this paper the authors show that there is a constant \(K=K(\alpha)\) such that \(B(f,\alpha)\leq KA(f,\alpha-1)\) for all holomorphic \(f\) with \(f(0)=0\) if and only if \(\alpha<1\). Further an opposite inequality \(A(f, \alpha-1) \leq{2-\alpha\over 2}B(f,\alpha)\) holds for all \(f\) with \(f(0)=0\) whenever \(\alpha<2\). The constant \({2-\alpha\over 2}\) in the latter is sharp.
