Following an earlier idea of the author [Colloq. Math. 144, No. 2, 215--228 (2016; Zbl 1351.26051)], in the paper under review the author deals with the Gaussian iteration of quasi-arithmetic means. Certain convergence questions are studied and related limits are calculated. The results are too complicated to be stated here.
