This paper studies the Hodge decomposition of the Hochschild cohomology and deformation quantization for a possibly singular affine toric variety. \par An important result for the existence of deformation quantization is Kontsevich's formality theorem. This theorem implies that every Poisson structure on a smooth algebraic variety can be quantized, i.e. admits a star product. The author drops the assumption of smoothness for affine toric varieties. Although the deformation quantization of singular Poisson algebras does not exist in general, the author proves that every Poisson structure on a possibly affine toric variety can be quantized. \par In the singular case, the $n$-th Hochschild cohomology group consists of more than just one summand. The author studies the Hodge decomposition of the Hochschild cohomology of a possibly singular affine toric variety. This generalizes the convex geometric description given by \textit{K. Altmann} and \textit{A. B. Sletsjøe} [J. Algebra 210, No. 2, 708--718 (1998; Zbl 0918.13007)] on the Harrison parts of the Hodge decomposition. As an application, this description has been explicity treated for three dimensional affine toric varieties and for affine cones over smooth toric Fano varieties.
