Let \(X\) be a Banach space of functions on the interval \(I=(0,1)\). For \(1\leq p<\infty\), the mixed norm space \(L^{p;X}(\mathbb{D})\) consists of all distributions \(f\) on the unit disk \(\mathbb{D}\subset\mathbb{C}\) whose distributional Fourier coefficients \(\{f_n\}_{n\in\mathbb{Z}}\) are regular functions in \(X\) and \(\sum_n \|f_n\|_X^p<\infty\). The Bergman space \(A^{p;X}(\mathbb{D})\) is the subspace of analytic functions in \(L^{p;X}(\mathbb{D})\). Under some constrictions on \(X\) the authors prove, among others, the following results: the spaces \(L^{p;X}(\mathbb{D})\) and \(A^{p;X}(\mathbb{D})\) are complete; the classical Bergman projection from \(L^2(\mathbb{D})\) to the Bergman space \(A^2(\mathbb{D})\) maps \(L^{p;X}(\mathbb{D})\) onto \(A^{p;X}(\mathbb{D})\); the space \(A^{2;X}(\mathbb{D})\) coincides with \(D_X H^2(\mathbb{D})\), where \(D_X\) is a fractional differential type operator defined in terms of a Hadamard product composition. From this general approach the authors study concrete cases where \(X\) is either an Orlicz space, a generalized Morrey space or a generalized complementary Morrey space. These results complement other well-known results for variable exponent Lebesgue spaces and the classical Morrey and complementary Morrey spaces.
