In this work, the author proves the algebraic index theorem for a star product with separation of variables on a pseudo-Kähler manifold. The author considers a canonical formal trace density which differs from Fedosov's trace density by a complex factor. He uses normalizations of the canonical trace density and of the characteristic classes.
