In this paper, the authors prove that minimizers of the discrete interaction energy for attractive-repulsive potentials converge to minimizers of the corresponding continuum energy as the number of particles goes to infinity. More precisely, by using the \(\Gamma\)-convergence they prove that the discrete interaction energy converges in the narrow topology to the continuum interaction energy. Moreover, by introducing the discrete counterpart of the classical Morrey spaces, they study the properties of regularity of discrete minimizers.
