The stability of supersonic contact discontinuity for the two-dimensional steady compressible Euler flow in a finite nozzle of varying cross-section is studied. The problem is formulated as an initial-boundary value problem with the contact discontinuity as a free boundary. Then, the Lagrangian variables are used, and the transformed free boundary value problem is solved via an iteration scheme which involves some new estimates of solutions for the first order of hyperbolic equations in a cornered domain. An example of blowing up solution of the problem on semi-infinite domain is given.
