A spinorial characterization of CR structures and almost CR structures of arbitrary codimension on Riemannian manifolds is presented. In particular, it is proved that if \(M\) is an oriented \(n\)-dimensional Riemannian manifold, the two following statements are equivalent: 1. \(M\) admits a twisted Spin\(^{c,r}\) structure carrying a partially pure spinor field \(\phi\in\Gamma(S)\), where \(S\) denotes the associated twisted spinor bundle; 2. \(M\) admits an almost CR Hermitian structure of codimension \(n\). Some criteria of integrability of almost CR structures in spinorial terms are established. In the case of the codimension one, the more detailed spinorial characaterization for contact metric structures and Sasakian structures is obtained. In particular, such characterization is applied for structures induced on oriented hypersurfaces of Kählerian manifolds. For Part I and II, see [\textit{M. Espinosa} and the first author, Differ. Geom. Appl. 46, 79--107 (2016; Zbl 1337.53058); the first author and \textit{N. Santana}, ``Spinorially twisted spin structures.
