      The authors prove the existence of two nonzero weak solutions to the Dirichlet-Neumann problem for the equation \[ - \left( q(x) |u'(x)|^{p-2} u'(x) \right)' + s(x) |u(x)|^{p-2} u(x) = \lambda f \left( x, u(x) \right), \qquad x \in (a, b). \] The proof is based on a critical point theorem by \textit{G. Bonanno} and the first-named author [Z. Anal. Anwend. 35, No. 4, 449--464 (2016; Zbl 1352.49008)].
