      This is an extensive paper on the absolutely continuous spectrum of perturbed Stark-type operators. The perturbed Stark-type operator is defined as \[ Hu=H_{0}u+qu=-u^{\prime \prime}-xu+qu, \] where $q$ is a power-decaying perturbation. The author is interested in criteria of the perturbation $q$ such that $H=H_{0}+q$ has a single embedded eigenvalue, finitely many embedded eigenvalues or infinitely many embedded eigenvalues. \par In this paper, the readers can find answers to these questions: \begin{itemize} \item[1)] Is it possible to obtain a sharp spectral transition for the existence of eigenvalues for perturbed Stark-type operators? \item[2)] What happens in the transition lines for both Schrödinger operators and Stark-type operators? \end{itemize}
