Summary: We give the semiclassical asymptotic of barrier-top resonances for Schrödinger operators on \(\mathbb{R}^{n}\), \(n \geq 1\), whose potential is \(C^{\infty}\) everywhere and analytic at infinity. In the globally analytic setting, this has already been obtained in [\textit{P. Briet} et al., Commun. Partial Differ. Equations 12, 201--222 (1987; Zbl 0622.47047); \textit{J. Sjöstrand}, Lect. Notes Math. 1256, 402--429 (1987; Zbl 0627.35074)]. Our proof is based on a propagation of singularities theorem at a hyperbolic fixed point that we establish here. This last result refines a theorem of \textit{J.-F. Bony} et al. [J. Funct. Anal. 252, No. 1, 68--125 (2007; Zbl 1157.35127)], and its proof follows another approach.
