Let \(\mathcal I\) be an ideal on \(\omega\). We say that a sequence of functions \(f_n:X\to\mathbb R\), \(n\in\omega\), \(\mathcal I\)-quasinormally converges to a function \(f:X\to\mathbb R\) on \(X\), if there is a sequence of positive reals \(\varepsilon_n\), \(n\in\omega\), converging to zero such that \(\{n\in\omega:|f_n(x)-f(x)|\geq\varepsilon_n\}\in\mathcal I\) for each \(x\in X\). A space \(X\) is said to be an \(\mathcal I\)QN-space, if any sequence of continuous functions \(f_n:X\to\mathbb R\), \(n\in\omega\), pointwisely converging to zero, converges to zero \(\mathcal I\)-quasinormally. A space \(X\) is said to be an \(\mathcal I\)wQN-space, if for any sequence of continuous functions \(f_n:X\to\mathbb R\), \(n\in\omega\), converging to zero pointwisely, there is an increasing sequence of natural numbers \(n_k\), \(k\in\omega\) such that \((f_{n_k})_{k\in\omega}\) \(\mathcal I\)-quasinormally converges to zero. It is known that the properties \(\mathcal I\)QN-space and \(\mathcal I\)wQN-space are non-trivial only for ideals \(\mathcal I\) that are not weak P-ideals. The author finds a combinatorial characterization of non\((\mathcal I\text{wQN-space})\). He proves that \(\mathfrak b\leq\text{non}(\mathcal I\text{QN-space})\leq \text{non}(\mathcal I\text{wQN-space})\leq\mathfrak d\) for every weak P-ideal \(\mathcal I\) on \(\omega\) and \(\text{non}(\mathcal I\text{QN-space})= \text{non}(\mathcal I\text{wQN-space})=\mathfrak b\) for every ideal \(\mathcal I\) on \(\omega\) that is below an \(F_\sigma\)-ideal in the Katětov partial ordering of ideals. The latter includes all analytic ideals defined by unbounded submeasures. He proves that consistently there is a weak P-ideal \(\mathcal I\) and an \(\mathcal I\)wQN-space that is not a wQN-space and he proves that for this ideal the ideal version of Scheepers Conjecture does not hold. In the case of non-tall ideals \(\mathcal I\) on \(\omega\) it is known that \(\mathcal I\)QN coincides with QN and \(\mathcal I\)wQN coincides with wQN. The author proves that if \(\mathcal I\) is a tall ideal and \(X\) is a space with \(|X|<\text{cov}^*(\mathcal I)\), then \(X\) is an \(\mathcal I\)wQN-space if and only if \(X\) is a wQN-space.
