A left nearring is a triple \((S,+,*)\), where \((S,+)\) is an additive group, \((S,*)\) is a multiplicative semigroup, and the left distributive law holds. A weakly divisible nearring, or wd-nearring, is a left nearring \(N\) in which, for all \(a,b \in N\), at least one of the equations \(ax=b\) or \(bx=a\) has a solution. In a previous paper [Sem.\ Mat.\ Brescia, Quad.\ 17 (2004)], the authors constructed partially balanced incomplete block designs from a special class of wd-nearrings. Designs constructed this way are called wd-designs. In the present paper, the author studies the incidence matrices and the connected row and column codes of these designs. In particular, the author computes the parameters of two special classes of wd-designs, as well as the parameters of the related row and column codes.
