First of all, it has to be mentioned that the paper is written and presented with great care. That being said, the paper presents several characterizations of the Musielak-Orlicz Hardy space \(H^{\phi}(\mathbb{R}^n)\) in terms of wavelets (which is already clear from the title). The main result is a new approach which allows to compensate the supremum appearing in the classical definition of atoms. The (long) introduction gives the material needed to read the paper (with clear definitions and welcome recalls) and clearly explains the ``state of the art''; at the end, the main results of the paper are given (Theorem 1.9 and Corollary 1.10), just to complete the nice overview. Then the second section establishes several new results and the third one is dedicated to the proof of the main results. The (long) list of references enhances the paper.
