Interpolation spaces and energy quantization for Yang-Mills fields (Q1866528)

\textit{G. Tian} [Ann. Math. (2) 151, 193-268 (2000; Zbl 0957.58013)] proved that the defect measure of a weakly converging sequence of Yang-Mills fields on a Riemannian manifold of dimension \(n\geq 4\) is carried by a \((n-4)\)-rectifiable set. In the present paper the author completes the picture in the case \(n=4\) by proving that the defect measure is quantized. This result is extended to any dimension under some additional restrictions.
