Resonant frequencies for a system of time-harmonic elastic wave (Q1874573)

The aim of this article is to develop a simple proof of the existence of resonant frequencies associated with a phenomenon described by a system of elastic waves with prescribed stress-traction operator. The author considers the propagation of elastic waves outside an obstacle with smooth boundary and investigates the meromorphic continuation to the whole complex plane of solution. In addition, an alternative proof for the existence of resonance frequencies is described.
