Let \(B_n\) be the open unit ball in \(\mathbb{C}^n\), \(n\geq 1\), and suppose that \(K\) is a \(C^\infty\) compact manifold in \(\partial B_1\times \mathbb{C}^n\), diffeomorphic to \(\partial B_1\times \partial B_n\), each of whose fibers \(K_z\) over \(\partial B_1\) bounds a strictly hyperconvex connected open set. Let \(\widehat K\) be the polynomial hull of \(K\), i.e. \[ \widehat K:= \Biggl\{z\in \mathbb{C}^n:|P(z)|\leq \sup_{w\in K}\,|P(w)|\text{ for all polynomials }P\text{ on }\mathbb{C}^n\Biggr\}. \] It is proved that the set \(\widehat K\setminus K\) is the union of graphs of analytic vector-valued functions on \(B_1\). This fact allows the author to solve an \(H^\infty\) optimization problem. The results of the paper improve earlier theorems related to the above-mentioned problem.
