In [J. Pure Appl. Algebra 48, 229-247 (1987; Zbl 0671.13007)], \textit{M. Gerstenhaber} and \textit{S. D. Schack} gave a characterization of families of elements \(f_n\) in \(\mathbb{Q}[S_n]\) which commute with the Hochschild abstract boundary. In this paper the author gives partial results for the corresponding problem for families of elements in \(\mathbb{Q}[B_n]\), the rational group algebras over hyperoctahedral groups. He returns on the decomposition of the Hochschild homology of a commutative algebra with involutive automorphism [see \textit{F. Bergeron} and the author, J. Pure Appl. Algebra 79, 109-129 (1992; Zbl 0793.20004)] and shows that, if the involution is trivial, so is the decomposition. He also establishes various refinements of this decomposition. Further informations on the subject are to be found in another paper by the author [Adv. Math. 110, 255-276 (1995; see the preceding review Zbl 0833.16006)].
