Fuzzy-quotient groups (Q1894255)

Quotients of fuzzy groups are examined by many authors [cf. e.g. \textit{N. P. Mukherjee, P. Bhattacharya}, Inf. Sci. 34, 225-239 (1984; Zbl 0568.20002), \textit{B. B. Makamba, V. Murali}, ibid. 59, 121-129 (1992; Zbl 0737.20041); \textit{N. Kuroki}, ibid. 60, 247-259 (1992; Zbl 0747.20038); \textit{N. Ajmal, A. S. Prajapati}, ibid. 64, 17-25 (1992; Zbl 0779.20041)]. The paper redefines some notions and reproves some results on fuzzy groups and fuzzy congruence relations. In particular, one-to-one correspondences between normal fuzzy groups, fuzzy congruence relations and fuzzy partitions on a given group are examined.
