The work of \textit{M. Gromov} and \textit{R. Schoen} [Publ. Math., Inst. Hautes Étud. Sci. 76, 165-246 (1992)] establishes a theory of harmonic maps from smooth manifolds into nonpositively curved Riemannian simplicial complexes. The author here establishes interior Hölder continuity of an energy minimizing map (with image in a compact set) from a locally finite \(n\)-dimensional locally \((n-1)\)-connected Riemannian simplicial complex into a locally finite Riemannian simplicial complex of nonpositive curvature. For complete Riemannian domains of nonnegative sectional curvature the author further proves that an energy minimizing map as above has weakly subharmonic energy density and, within the injectivity radius, the energy density on a ball is bounded above by its integral over a larger ball and the constant in the inequality depends only on the dimension of the domain.
