Introduced in 1963, Glauber dynamics is one of the most practiced and extensively studied methods for sampling the Ising model on lattices. Glauber dynamics is the dynamics not of the motion of particles, but rather their disappearance (death) or appearance (birth) at random. The authors of the present paper and \textit{E. Zhizhina} [Math. Nachr. 285, No. 2--3, 223--235 (2012; Zbl 1245.60092)] developed a new approach based on an algorithm to solve object detection problems in image processing for the construction of the Glauber dynamics in a continuum. The paper under review extends this constructive approach to the evolution of the correlation function of the Glauber dynamics in a continuum. The existence of the corresponding strongly continuous contraction semigroup in a proper Banach space is shown. Additionally, the existence of an evolution of the states is proved. A study of their ergodic properties is included.
