This is the second part of the paper with the same title, the first part is in [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 365, No. 6, 3227--3253 (2013; Zbl 1322.11091)]. Now the authors study zero-free discs of general Dirichlet series (\(L\)-functions) of the form \[ L(s) = \sum_{n=1}^\infty a_n n^{-s} \] where some additional conditions, such as \(a_n \ll_\varepsilon n^\varepsilon\), are assumed. In the first part of the paper zero-free regions were obtained by using some spaces of functions which were defined with some involved technical conditions. Now two different natural ways are presented with the purpose of removing these technical conditions. Altogether four theorems are stated and proved. The last of these provides a disc where the Riemann zeta-function \(\zeta(s)\) does not vanish. As a particular example the authors state that \(\zeta(s)\) does not vanish in the disc with center \(\frac{1}{2}+50i\) and radius \(1,48\times 10^{-5}\), which is a little better than what they had in part I of this paper. This paper is a nice contribution to the theory of zero-free regions for \(L\)-functions.
