The purpose of this paper is to give a proof of the energy estimate for the second order stabilized time-dependent Maxwell's equation for the electric field. It is also provided a modification of the hybrid method with applications in two and three space dimensions. The main novelty in the analysis developed in the present paper is that there are derived energy estimates for the time-dependent Maxwell's equation for the electric field with Coulomb-type gauge condition in the presence of the first order absorbing boundary conditions. This estimate gives a bound of the electric field through the initial data and the source function of these equations. Several numerical results illustrate the results of this paper.
