    Let \((M, g, J)\) be an almost para-Hermitian manifold or an almost pseudo-Hermitian manifold of signature \((p, q)\) (for para-Hermitian manifolds \(p = q\) and for pseudo-Hermitian manifolds \(p\) and \(q\) are both even). The authors study the space \(\mathfrak H\) of \(3\)-tensors for which the covariant derivative \(\nabla\Omega\) of the associated Kähler form \(\Omega\) satisfies certain algebraic identities at a given point \(P \in M\). It turns out that \(\mathfrak H\) is the orthogonal sum of four irreducible \(U^*(p, q)\)-submodules, where \(U^*(p, q) = \{T \in O(p, q): TJ_P = \pm J_PT\}\). It is also proved that every element of \(\mathfrak H\) is geometrically realizable. Moreover, given \(H \in \mathfrak H\) there exists a new almost para/pseudo-Hermitian structure \(\tilde J\) on \(M\) such that \(\tilde J_P = J_P\) and the associated Kähler form of \(\tilde J\) has covariant derivative \((\nabla\tilde\Omega)_P = H\). Integrable structures \(J\) are characterized by having \((\nabla\Omega)_P \in U_3\), where \(U_3\) is the sum of two irreducible \(U^*(p, q)\)-submodules in the decomposition of \(\mathfrak H\). The authors prove that every element in \(U_3\) is also geometrically realizable. More precisely, if \((M, g, J)\) is a para/pseudo-Kähler manifold and \(H \in U_3\), then there exists a new para/pseudo-Hermitian metric \(\tilde g\) on \(M\) such that \(\tilde g_P = g_P\) and \((\tilde\nabla\Omega)_P = H\).
