Let \(\mathcal{A}=\{a_{m}; m\in{\mathbb{N}}\}\) et \(\mathcal{B}=\{b_{m}; m\in{\mathbb{N}_{0}}\}\) be two periodic sequences of complex numbers \(a_{m}\) and \(b_{m}\) with minimal positive periods \(k\in{\mathbb{N}}\) and \(l\in{\mathbb{N}}\), respectively. For \(\sigma>1\), the periodic zeta-function \(\zeta(s,\mathcal{A})\) and the periodic Hurwitz zeta-function with parameter \(\alpha\) are defined by Dirichlet series \[ \zeta(s;\mathcal{A})=\sum_{m=1}^{+\infty}\frac{a_{m}}{m^{s}}\text{ and }\zeta(s,\alpha;\mathcal{B})=\sum_{m=1}^{+\infty}\frac{b_{m}}{(m+\alpha)^{s}} \] respectively. In this paper, the authors show mixed joint functional independence and denseness theorems for the two periodic functions defined above using probabilistic methods. Their results generalize Theorem 5 and Lemma 13 in [the first author and \textit{A. Laurinčikas}, Stud. Sci. Math. Hung. 48, No. 2, 257--279 (2011; Zbl 1249.11091)].
