A version of the doubly parabolic Keller-Segel system with nonlinear (but nondegenerate) diffusion and logistic source term is studied in bounded domains of \(\mathbb R^N\), \(N\ge 2\). Using a new energy-type inequality global-in-time and uniform boundedness of solutions is studied under suitable assumptions on the diffusion term.
