The author is interested to find a weighted logarithmic Sobolev inequality involving the measure \(gdx\) which is neither the Lebesgue measure nor a probability measure. He establishes a suitable logarithmic Hardy inequality, that arises in the study of the heat-diffusion semigroup. The second-order extension of the logarithmic Hardy inequality is also obtained. The author identifies a Banach function space for \(g\) so that a suitable weighted logarithmic Sobolev inequality holds. In order to do so, the author looks for a class of weights \(g\) for which a weighted Hardy-Sobolev inequality holds, a similar study is done for the Hardy-Rellich inequalities. The paper is enriched with some examples of classical functions spaces. In this paper, the author discusses a logarithmic version of the Sobolev inequality and Hardy inequalities. In the same spirit, he establishes a logarithmic version of the Lorentz-Sobolev inequality as stated below.
