The paper aims to establish a calculus of (pseudo-)differential operators on manifolds with edge singularities and boundary. There are numerous non-equivalent configurations with different choices of metrics. In this paper, cases with incomplete metrics are considered. For this purpose, compositions within the structure are studied via a new Mellin-edge quantization, which is also compared with a more traditional technique.
