The authors of the paper under review study some fixed point results in Banach algebras relative to the weak topology under Leray-Schauder-type boundary conditions. They establish existence of fixed points results for nonlinear operators in Banach algebras relative to the weak topology. To illustrate the results obtained, the authors study the existence of continuous solutions of nonlinear quadratic integral equations.
