Periodic driving at high frequencies of an impurity in the isotropic XY chain (Q2014276)

This paper studies the isotropic XY quantum spin chain with a periodically time-dependent transverse external field working only in one state. It starts with the Hamiltonian operator which involves the Pauli matrices and three parameters which define respectively the strength of the spin-spin coupling, the magnitude of the external field and its frequency. The authors study more especially the formal limit of the equation of the system (i.e., the limiting form of the Schrödinger equation) and they show that the \(N\)-body problem can be reduced to a one-body Schrödinger problem. The finite-time analysis of the problem is provided.
