Long time behaviour of a local perturbation in the isotropic XY chain under periodic forcing (Q2135173)

In this paper the authors study an XY chain in a periodic external field which acts on one site only. Under a nonresonance condition on the allowed frequencies of the periodic field, and an associated weakness condition on the field, an asymptotic periodic evolution plus, starting from arbitrary initial condition, a correction term, is derived, as solutions of a Floquet-Schrödinger equation. The proof consists of quite explicit computations, KAM-inspired, but the initial description is clarifying and helpful.
