In this paper, the authors consider the question of non-existence of solutions to a class of fractional differential equations and to monotone weakly coupled systems in the half-space, that is, \[ (-\Delta)^\alpha u = u^p \] and \[ (-\Delta)^\alpha u = v^p,\quad (-\Delta)^\alpha v = u^q. \] The equations and systems they consider are semilinear and the right-hand sides are a power nonlinearity. The main results of the paper can be summarised as follows: unless the exponents \(\alpha,p,q\) satisfy certain compatibility conditions, there does not exist positive solutions \(u,v>0\) of the respective problems. The main idea of the proof involves ABP-type fractional estimates. The reviewer thinks that the paper is well-written and its mathematical content is excellent, but the level of the English language is rather poor and at certain points impares the meaning.
