Nuclear dimension of \(C^*\)-algebras is a non-commutative analogue of Lebesgue's covering dimension of topological spaces. It has played a prominent role in the classification programme of simple nuclear \(C^*\)-algebras. This paper contains several results concerning the nuclear dimension of \(C^*\)-algebras associated to some partial actions of finite groups or \(\mathbb{Z}\) on finite dimensional locally compact Hausdorff and second countable spaces. The author obtains these estimates by relating the nuclear dimension of such algebras with the nuclear dimension of global actions on locally compact Hausdorff and second countable spaces. For such crossed products, their nuclear dimension was estimated in [\textit{I. Hirshberg} and \textit{J.-C. Wu}, Adv. Math. 304, 56--89 (2017; Zbl 1376.46042)]. In particular, the author shows that the nuclear dimension of \(C^*\)-algebras associated to minimal partial automorphisms on a locally compact Hausdorff and second countable space \(X\) is bounded by \(2 \dim X + 6\). This implies that those partial crossed products can be classified by their Elliott invariant.
