The article is concerned with the mathematical analysis of the Baldwin-Lomax model describing turbulent flows at statistical equillibrium. The main result is the proof of a weak solution to the Baldwin-Lomax model with the rotational part of the solution belonging in a weighted \(\mathrm{L}^2\) space. The proof is based on the classical Galerkin approximation and monotonicity arguments.
