For a self-adjoint positive semi-definite bounded linear operator \(A\) on a complex Hilbert space \((\mathcal{H},\langle \cdot, \cdot\rangle)\), \[ \|x\|_A:=\sqrt{\langle Ax, x\rangle}, x\in\mathcal{H}, \] defines a seminorm on \(\mathcal{H}\). The \(A\)-operator seminorm of a bounded linear operator \(T\) on \(\mathcal{H}\) is \[ \|T\|_A:=\sup_{x\in\overline{R(A)}, x\neq 0 }\frac{\|Tx\|_A}{\|x\|_A} \] where \(R(A)\) denotes the range of \(A\). The so-called \(A\)-numerical radius of \(T\) is \[ w_A(T):=\sup\{|\langle ATx,x\rangle| : x\in\mathcal{H}, \|x\|_A=1\}. \] Moreover, \(T\) admits an \(A\)-adjoint, if there exists a bounded linear operator \(R\) on \(\mathcal{H}\) such that \[ \langle ATx, y\rangle=\langle Ax, Ry\rangle\quad\text{ for all }x, y\in \mathcal{H}. \] The collection of all bounded linear operators on \(\mathcal{H}\) which admit an \(A\)-adjoint is denoted by \(\mathcal{B}_A(\mathcal{H})\). In the article, the authors show new bounds on the \(A\)-numerical radius of operators from \(\mathcal{B}_A(\mathcal{H})\). These results generalise and improve existing bounds. In addition, for \(X, Y, Z, W\in\mathcal{B}_A(\mathcal{H})\) and \(\mathbb{A}=\begin{pmatrix} A & 0 \\ 0 & A\end{pmatrix}\) the \(\mathbb{A}\)-operator seminorm of the operator matrix \(\begin{pmatrix} X & Y \\ Z & W\end{pmatrix}\) is estimated.
