Orientations for DT invariants on quasi-projective Calabi-Yau 4-folds (Q2042017)

The paper under review proves orientability of the determinant line bundles of moduli stacks of compactly supported perfect complexes of sheaves on quasi-projective Calabi-Yau 4-folds, extending corresponding results of [\textit{Y. Cao} et al., Adv. Math. 368, Article ID 107134, 59 p. (2020; Zbl 1443.14056)] on projective Calabi-Yau 4-folds. The method is similar as loc. cit. reducing the orientation problem to an orientation problem on certain spin 4-manifolds and prove using similar methods as in loc. cit.
