The starting points of this paper are the classical Banach-Stone theorem and a remarkable generalization, which was obtained independently by \textit{D. Amir} [Isr. J. Math. 3, 205--210 (1965; Zbl 0141.31301)] and \textit{M. Cambern} [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 18, 1062--1066 (1967; Zbl 0165.47402)], and states that compact spaces \(K\) and \(L\) are homeomorphic if there exists an isomorphism \(T: C(K) \rightarrow C(L)\) such that \(\Vert T\Vert\, \Vert T^{-1} \Vert < 2\). The authors present several generalizations of recent results about isomorphic Banach-Stone type theorems for closed subspaces of vector-valued continuous functions. The Banach space range is assumed to be reflexive in some cases and in some others not containing an isomorphic copy of \(c_0\). The theorems are too technical to be stated in this review. The interested reader is referred to the original article.
