This paper reviews a recent new proof of Anderson localization (both spectral localization and exponential dynamical localization) in one space dimension. This proof is based on the positiveness and large deviation estimates for the Lyapunov exponent; the former one reduces to verify the conditions of Fürstenberg's theorem. To get the exponential decay of eigenfunctions, a useful lemma is given, which connects the Green function and the eigenfunctions. For the entire collection see [Zbl 1459.37002].
