The paper is a continuation of a previous work of the first two authors on characteristic classes of codimension-one foliations [``Losik classes for codimension-one foliations'', Preprint, \url{arXiv:1810.01143}, accepted by J. Inst. Math. Jussieu] based on Mark V. Losik's ideas. The characteristic class used here is a modified Godbillon-Vey class which takes values in the cohomology of the second order frame bundle over the leaf space of the foliation. Reeb foliations have trivial Godbillon-Vey class. The authors show that the modified Godbillon-Vey class is non-trivial for some Reeb foliations. In particular, this characteristic class, the modified Godbillon-Vey class, can distinguish non-diffeomorphic foliations and, in this way, it provides more information than the classical Godbillon-Vey class.
