Lets \(X\) be a smooth projective variety defined over an algebraically closed field \(k\). \(X\) is called a Fano variety if and only if \(-K_X\) is ample. Let \(X\) be a Fano variety. \(X\) is called superrigid if and only if \(X\) has Picard number 1 and any birational map \(\tau \colon X \dasharrow X^{\prime}\) to a Mori fiber space \(X^{\prime}\) is an isomorphism. \(X\) is called \(K\)-stable if and only if it satisfies the properties defined in [\textit{G. Tian}, Invent. Math. 130, No. 1, 1--37 (1997; Zbl 0892.53027)] and [\textit{S. K. Donaldson}, J. Differ. Geom. 62, No. 2, 289--349 (2002; Zbl 1074.53059)]. A completely algebraic definition is given in [\textit{K. Fujita}, J. Reine Angew. Math. 751, 309--338 (2019; Zbl 1435.14039)]. In this paper the author proves that every projectively normal Fano variety \(X\subset \mathbb{P}^{n+r}_{\mathbb{C}}\) of codimension \(r\) and dimension \(n\geq 10r\) is birationally superrrigid and \(K\)-stable. In [\textit{Z. Zhuang}, Duke Math. J. 169, No. 12, 2205--2229 (2020; Zbl 1456.14050)] the author has proven the same result by replacing the condition \textit{projectively normal} with the condition \textit{complete intersection}. Hartshorne's conjecture, unsettled at the moment that this review is being written, says that every smooth projective variety in \(\mathbb{P}^{n+r}_{\mathbb{C}}\) of dimension \(n\) such that \(n>2r\) is a complete intersection. So at the moment it is not clear that the result of this paper covers more cases than the one proved in [\textit{Z. Zhuang}, Duke Math. J. 169, No. 12, 2205--2229 (2020; Zbl 1456.14050)]. The proof of the main result follows the same lines as the proof of the complete intersection case proved by the same author.
