The main object of investigation is a second-order differential equation with state-dependent impulses at both the position and its derivative, i.e., the times of impulsive effect change depending on the solution. The aim is to study the existence of periodic solutions of the given equations. The base of study is the Poincaré map and some fixed point theorems, such as a partial extension of the classic Poincaré-Birkhoff twist theorem or the well-known Poincaré-Bohl theorem.
