One of physical explanations of turbulence phenomena is related to models in hydrodynamics with stochastic perturbations. The authors consider the case of high Reynolds number flows of compressible fluid past an obstacle. They indicate that limits of statistical solutions of stochastically perturbed problems in some quite general cases do not exhibit genuinely stochastic properties as predicted by those physical models. Informally, they appear to be statistical solutions of deterministic Euler equations.
