The paper presents some constructions of biquandles (which are certain set-theoretic solutions to the Yang-Baxter equation useful in combinatorial knot theory) from groups and from quandles. The authors present constructions of biquandles on unions and products of quandles. The paper also computes automorphism groups of some of the biquandles constructed.
