The Segal-Bargmann space with quantization parameter \(t>0\) is a closed subspace of the square-integrable holomorphic functions \(L_2(\mathbb C^n,\mu)\) such that \[ d\mu(z)=(2\pi t)^{-n}\exp\left(-\frac{|z|^2}{2t}\right)dz. \] We denote by \(\tilde f^{(s)}\), the heat transform at time \(s\) of a polynomially bounded function \(f\) on \(\mathbb C^n\) and it is defined as \[ \tilde f^{(s)}(z)=\frac{1}{(2\pi s)^{n/2}}\int_{\mathbb C^n}\exp(\left(\frac{-|\omega|^2}{2s}\right)f(z+\omega)d\omega\text{ for }z\in\mathbb C^n. \] The authors state that for a fixed quantization parameter \(t>0\) and for \(f\) a real measurable polynomially bounded symbol such that that there is a time \(s\in[0,\frac{t}{2})\) for which the first-order derivatives of the heat-transformed symbol \(\tilde f^{(s)}\) at time \(s\) have bounded oscillation. Then the Toeplitz operator \(T_f\) (of symbol \(f\)) is self-adjoint on its natural domain.
