Let \(I=[0,1]\), \(1\le p<\infty\), \(\lambda>-1\), \(r\in I\), \(\nu_\lambda(r)=(\lambda+1)(1-r^2)^\lambda\), and let \(L_\lambda^p(I)\) denote the space of functions measurable \(\varphi\) on \(I\) such that \[ \Vert \varphi\Vert_{L_\lambda^p(I)}=\left(\int_I|\varphi(r)|^p\nu_\lambda(r)2rdr\right)^{\frac{1}{p}}<\infty. \] Let \(\mathbb{Z}_+=\mathbb{N}\cup\{0\}\) and \(\mathbb{Z}_-=\mathbb{Z}\setminus\mathbb{Z}_+\). For \(1\le q< \infty\), let \(l_+^q\) the subspace of \(l^q\) consisting of sequences \(\{c_n\}_{n\in\mathbb{Z}}\) for which \(c_n=0\) if \(n\in\mathbb{Z}_-\). The spaces of sequences with components belonging to \(L_\lambda^p(I)\) are denoted as \(l^q(L_\lambda^p(I))\) and \(l_+^q(L_\lambda^p(I))\). In this interesting paper, the authors introduce and analyze the space of sequences with a mixed norm \(\mathcal{A}_{1,\lambda}^{q,p}\), which is defined as the closed subspace in \(l_+^q(L_\lambda^p(I))\) generated by sequences \(\{c_n(r)\}_{n\in\mathbb{Z}}\), the components of which are differentiable as functions of \(r\) and satisfy equations \[ \left(\dfrac{\partial}{\partial r}-\dfrac{n}{r}\right)c_n(r)=0,\quad n\in\mathbb{Z}. \] In particular, they prove that \(\mathcal{A}_{1,\lambda}^{q,p}\) coincides with the space of sequences of the form \[ c_n(r)=\begin{cases} \left(2(\lambda+1)\int_0^1 r^{np+1}(1-r^2)^\lambda dr\right)^{-\frac{1}{p}}c_n r^n,\quad n\in\mathbb{Z}_+\\ 0,\quad n\in\mathbb{Z}_-, \end{cases} \] where \(\{c_n\}\in l_+^q\) and \(\Vert \{c_n(r)\}\Vert_{l^q(L_\lambda^p(I))}=\Vert\{c_n\}\Vert_{l_+^q}\). The authors also construct appropriate isomorphisms for these mixed norm spaces. They point out that their results can apparently be further used to study the boundedness and compactness, as well as spectral properties of Toeplitz-type operators in mixed norm spaces.
