Let \(B\) be a totally definite quaternion algebra over a number field \(F\), let \(G\) be the group of projective units, and let \(\mathcal{A}(G)\) be the set of all infinite dimensional irreducible automorphic representations of \(G(\mathbb{A}_F)\). Associated to each \(\pi\in\mathcal{A}(G)\), there is an analytic conductor \(c(\pi)\in\mathbb{R}\). The main theorem in this paper involves the truncation: \[ \mathcal{A}(Q)=\{\pi\in\mathcal{A}(G):c(\pi)\leq Q\}, \] which was shown to be a finite set in previous work by the author of the article under review. In particular, Theorem 1.2 shows that the averaged one-level density on \(\mathcal{A}(Q)\) admits a limit. Furthermore, for a restricted class of test functions, the symmetry type for the low-lying zeros is determined. A comparison is made between Theorem 1.2 and related works of Iwaniec-Luo-Sarnak and Shin-Templier. Theorem 1.2 implies a corolary concerning non-vanishing at the central point.
