In this article, the authors study actions of pointed Hopf algebras in the \(\mathbb Z\)-graded setting. First a full classification of inner-faithful module algebra structures of generalized Taft algebras \(T_n(\lambda,m)\) on the polynomial ring \(\Bbbk[t]\) is given, up to conjugation by an automorphism of \(\Bbbk[t]\). Next the main result is provided to classify inner-faithful weakly \(\mathbb Z\)-graded \(T_n(\lambda,m)\)-module algebra actions on quantum generalized Weyl algebras \(\Bbbk[t](u,v,\sigma,h)\) by giving explicit parametrization. Finally, They also show that generically the invariant rings of such module algebra actions of the Taft algebra \(T_n(\lambda)\) on quantum generalized Weyl algebras are commutative, and the associated graded rings are Kleinian singularities.
