Let \(G\) be a finite abelian group. Given elements \(\underline{g}=g_1,\cdots,g_\theta \in G\) and \(\underline{\chi}=\chi_1,\cdots,\chi_\theta \in \widehat{G}\) satisfying \(\chi_i(g_j) = \chi_j(g_i)^{-1}\) for \(i\neq j\) and \(m_i:=\mathrm{ord}(\chi_i(g_i))\geq 2\), the \textit{quantum linear space} \(\mathcal{R}(g_1,\cdots,g_\theta,\chi_1,\cdots,\chi_\theta)\) over \(G\) is a braided Hopf algebra generated by \(x_1,\cdots,x_\theta\) with relations \[x_i^{m_i}=0,\quad x_i x_j = \chi_j(g_i)x_j x_i\;\;(i\neq j).\] For each quantum linear space \(\mathcal{R}\), there is a naturally associated Hopf algebra called \textit{bosonization}, denoted \(B(G,\underline{g},\underline{\chi})=\mathcal{R}\#k G\). Taft algebras are examples of bosonizations. This paper studies actions of bosonizations on quantum affine spaces \(A=k_{\mathbf{p}}[u_1,\cdots,u_t]\) and quantum matrix algebras \(\mathcal{O}_q(M_n(k))\), extending the previous work [Algebr. Represent. Theory 22, No. 4, 785--799 (2019; Zbl 1451.16034)] by the second author et al. on a classification of Taft algebra actions on quantum planes and quantum Weyl algebras. Under mild conditions, the authors obtain bounds on the rank \(\theta\) of the bosonization acting on quantum algebras (Theorem 3.13, 4.8 and 4.18). Moreover, under mild hypothesis, they completely classify actions of generalized Taft algebras \(T_n(\lambda,m,\gamma)\) on quantum affine spaces and quantum matrix algebras (Theorem 3.9, Proposition 4.4 and 4.11). In particular, it is shown that all actions of generalized Taft algebras on quantum affine spaces are trivial extensions of actions on quantum planes.
