In the present article, the authors have proposed a novel methodology for the construction of wavelet frames on locally compact abelian (LCA) groups by employing the frame multiresolution analysis (FMRA) structure of \(L^2(G)\). Primarily, it is demonstrated that there exists a pair of functions \((\psi_1,\psi_2)\) in the detailed subspace \(W_{0}\) of the FMRA such that their respective translates constitute a frame for \(W_{0}\). Subsequently, for the index set \(\Lambda\), it is shown that the family of functions \(\big\{D^{j}T_{\lambda}\psi_\ell: j\in\mathbb Z, \lambda\in\Lambda, \ell=1,2\big\}\) constitutes a frame for \(L^2(G)\). In the sequel, the authors establish certain sufficient conditions for an FMRA on LCA groups to acknowledge that a single function \(\psi\in W_{0}\) can generate a frame for \(W_{0}\). Nevertheless, the entire procedure is validated via some illustrative examples.
