The authors investigate the classification and evolution of global bifurcation curves of positive solutions for the three-parameter quasilinear problem with one positive bifurcation parameter \(\lambda\) and two positive evolution parameters \(\varepsilon <1\) and \(L\). The relevant semilinear case arises in a regularized model in micro-electro-mechanical systems. Different from the recent works, the authors investigate a convex-concave nonlinearity but a non-monotonic function, this makes a new difficult to analyze the time-map. Tools such as some new time-map method, total positivity theory of integral operator, and the Sturm's Theorem for polynomials are used. The obtained results show that the patterns of bifurcation curves are very complex and diverse, significantly different from those in the semilinear case and in the quasilinear case (with \(\varepsilon=0\)). The authors also present a conjecture on the complete classification and the evolution of bifurcation curves \(\mathcal{C}_{\varepsilon}\) for the considered problem in the \((\lambda, \|u\|_{\infty})\)-plane with varying \(\varepsilon\) and \(L\).
